This year is coming to an end. And with a new one in sight, it’s only right to reflect on the past to achieve more in the future. I’m hoping in ’09 we all can rise as a whole … Otherwise prepare to fall as an individual. This year, we witnessed a first – the first [Democratic] Presidential Elect of African-American decent. Not because all black men and black women came together, but because everyone, of all ethnicities and ages, stood as one with a single right – the vote. This year, we have recognized what a recession really is. Gas and food prices, unemployment, and taxes, all at record highs. God has truly shown us he will not put us through anything we cannot handle.

Let’s all give thanks for this year, the good and the bad, because it has truly strengthened us for a new day. And in this new day, see goals. See the end, for which your goals are set for. See the lessons of yesterday as building blocks for today and achieve tomorrow. No matter where you are now, what will make you better for 2010? Do that! Advance … Progress …
